Introduction

In my one year studying abroad in Tokyo, Japan, I have discovered the joy of visiting cafes. I like cafes because they are spaces that are welcoming and fit for a number of occasions, be it meeting up with friends, doing homework, reading books, listening to music, eating delicious desserts, or more. Finding myself with little to do after classes every day, I gradually developed the habit of exploring cafes around the city to sit down and relax or do homework.

There are many different types of cafes. For instance, there are some cafes that have quiet atmospheres perfect for getting work done. Others, such as jazz cafes, are perfect for enjoying music. Still others, such as hedgehog cafes, are fun for hanging out with friends.

Although this website is by no means exhaustive, I do hope it can be useful to others who have the same interest.
